Zambezu LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates a guest post marketplace at zambezu.com (the "Platform"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share information when you create an account, browse our publisher network, place guest post or backlink orders, or otherwise use our marketplace services.
This Policy applies to all Platform users, including visitors, registered buyers, publisher partners, and agency accounts. By accessing or using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

We collect information depending on how you interact with the guest post marketplace:
Information you provide directly:
- Account information: Name, email address, company or agency name, phone number, billing address, and account preferences.
- Guest post order data: Article content, anchor text, target URLs, placement requirements, publisher selections, editorial guidelines, and order notes submitted for fulfillment.
- Publisher browsing activity: Saved publisher lists, filter preferences, comparison selections, and sites you add to cart or wishlists within the marketplace.
- Payment data: Billing details and transaction records processed through PCI-compliant payment processors (we do not store full card numbers on our servers).
- Communications: Messages sent via email, contact forms, order threads, or support channels.
Information collected automatically:
- IP address, browser type, operating system, and device information.
- Pages visited, publisher profiles viewed, search queries, referring URLs, and clickstream data within the Platform.
- Cookie identifiers and similar tracking technologies (see Section 4).
- Publisher metrics and order analytics: Domain authority filters applied, placement status updates, live link confirmations, delivery timestamps, and campaign performance data associated with your orders.
We use the information we collect for the following purposes related to our guest post marketplace:
- Order fulfillment: To process guest post and backlink orders, coordinate placements with publishers in our network, and deliver live link confirmations and order status updates.

- Legal compliance: To comply with applicable laws, respond to legal process, and enforce our Terms of Service.
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the guest post marketplace and improve your experience. The types of cookies we use include:
- Essential cookies: Required for the Platform to function, including login sessions, shopping cart state, order checkout, and security tokens. These cannot be disabled.

- Legal requirements: We may disclose information when required by law, subpoena, court order, or governmental authority, or when necessary to protect the rights and safety of Zambezu LLC, our users, publishers, or the public.
- Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your data is subject to a materially different privacy policy.
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law:
- Account data: Retained for the duration of your account and for up to 3 years after account closure to comply with legal and financial obligations.
- Transaction and billing records: Retained for 7 years for tax, audit, and legal compliance purposes.
- Guest post order records: Retained for the life of your account plus 3 years, including article content, placement confirmations, and live link URLs, to support order history and dispute resolution.
- Published guest post content: Once a placement goes live on a publisher's website, that content may persist on the publisher's site indefinitely, independent of our retention practices.
- Marketplace analytics data: Aggregated and anonymized usage data may be retained indefinitely for platform improvement and publisher network insights.
- Support communications: Retained for up to 2 years from the date of last contact.
You may request deletion of your personal data at any time, subject to our legal obligations to retain certain records and the fact that published guest posts on third-party sites are outside our control.
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, including your account details, order history, and saved publisher preferences.
- Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete account or billing information.
- Deletion: Request that we delete your personal data, subject to legal retention requirements and published content on third-party publisher sites.

- Contract performance: Processing necessary to fulfill guest post orders, manage your marketplace account, and deliver placement confirmations you have purchased.

- Legal obligation: Processing required to comply with applicable tax, billing, and regulatory requirements.

EU/EEA users also have the right to lodge a complaint with their local data protection authority (DPA) if they believe their rights have been violated. Zambezu LLC acts as the data controller for personal data processed through the Platform. When we share order details with publishers to fulfill placements, those publishers may act as independent data controllers for content published on their websites.
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) grant you specific rights regarding your personal information:
- Right to Know: You may request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you in the past 12 months, including account data, order details, publisher browsing activity, and payment records.
- Right to Delete: You may request deletion of personal information we have collected, subject to certain exceptions such as completed transaction records required for legal compliance.
- Right to Opt-Out: You have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. Zambezu LLC does not sell personal information.
- Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising your CCPA rights, including by denying access to the marketplace or charging different prices.
- Right to Correct: You may request correction of inaccurate personal information, such as billing details or account profile data.

We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, loss, destruction, or alteration. These measures include:

While we take data security seriously, no system is completely impenetrable. In the event of a data breach that affects your rights and freedoms, we will notify you and applicable authorities as required by law, within 72 hours where required under GDPR.
The Platform may contain links to publisher websites, third-party tools, and external services used for payment, analytics, or content delivery. This Privacy Policy applies only to Zambezu LLC's Platform and marketplace services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party websites, including the publisher sites in our network where your guest posts are placed.
Once your guest post is published on a publisher's website, that content and any visitor data collected by the publisher are subject to that publisher's own privacy and data practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party websites you visit through our marketplace or as part of your placements.
Third-party services we use (such as payment processors, email providers, and analytics platforms) have their own privacy policies governing how they handle data collected through our Platform.
Zambezu LLC's guest post marketplace is not directed to, and is not intended for use by, individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a person under 18, we will take immediate steps to delete that information from our systems. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us at support@zambezu.com so we can promptly address the matter.
Zambezu LLC operates a global guest post marketplace and your personal information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in countries outside your country of residence, including the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction. This includes sharing order details with publishers located in various countries to fulfill placements.
For transfers from the European Union or United Kingdom to countries not deemed adequate by the relevant authorities, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission, or other legally recognized transfer mechanisms.
By using the Platform, you acknowledge that your data may be transferred internationally in accordance with this Policy and applicable legal requirements.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our marketplace practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors. When we make material changes, we will:
- Update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
- Notify registered users via email or a prominent notice on the Platform at least 14 days before the changes take effect.
